PROGRAM: Mining on the Moon: An Earth-Bound Miner’s Perspective
PROGRAM DETAILS: With the recent restart of the missions to the Moon and the latest developments in spaceship technologies, the idea of developing Lunar human settlements in a short period of time is becoming more feasible. One of the first things to do after landing is finding in-situ resources that could provide construction materials, minerals and metals for industrialization, and water found in the craters of the South Pole region. Pioneering mine operations on the Lunar surface will face diverse challenges, from working at zero atmosphere, low gravity, drastic changes of temperature, exposure to radiation, and unconventional work cycles. Our experience of working and living in remote camps and our input from our Earth-bound experience with mining equipment will help manufacturers to create innovative equipment to be utilized under these extreme conditions. This presentation will provide an overview of the steps to follow for starting off-World mine operations successfully.

PROGRAM: Resolution Copper project overview and status, and introduction to Drilling and Core Processing at site
PROGRAM DETAILS: In 2013, Resolution Copper submitted a Mine Plan of Operations to the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), the federal agency in charge of the approval process. The document outlined proposed plans to design, construct, operate, and close the mine. It also stated how it would reclaim and restore the area once mining is complete. The plan included baseline data about the water, air, and biology in and around the project and our plans to protect these valuable resources. Come learn about the current projects and future plans at Resolution Copper.

PROGRAM: Cactus Mine - Project Update
PROGRAM DETAILS: The Cactus Project, previously known as the Sacaton Mine, was owned and operated by ASARCO from 1972-1984.The mine was shut down due to economic conditions. The property has since undergone a $20 million reclamation program under the guidance of the ASARCO Trust and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Since completion of the acquisition from the ASARCO Trust in July 2020, significant technical studies have been conducted to assess the economic viability of the Project and support an overall approach of a phased development plan.

PROGRAM: Bell Copper's Big Sandy Copper Porphyry Discovery
PROGRAM DETAILS: Exploration for the faulted, down-dropped top of the Laramide Diamond Joe porphyry stock northwest of Wikieup, Arizona, has led to the discovery of porphyry-style Cu-Mo-Re-Ag mineralization beneath 600 to nearly 1200 meters of post-faulting, valley-filling gravel cover. Three diamond drillholes separated by 1.2 to 1.8 kilometers have each cut rocks subjected to copper mineralization and related alteration typical of porphyry copper systems.

PROGRAM: Copper World Complex Project: PEA
PROGRAM DETAILS: The Copper World deposits were discovered in 2021 and are located predominately on wholly owned patented mining claims. The discovery drill program was initiated in 2020 to confirm historic drilling and after receiving encouraging results, launched a larger drill program in 2021 -which results in an initial mineral resource estimate. This talk will review this area, findings, and of what’s to come in the future for Rosemont Copper.
